Katz Realty is in need of realtors throughout all of eastern Washington. We are looking for honest, knowledgeable and reliable people, both seasoned professionals and those seeking to start a career in the real estate industry. For the latter, we will be there for you, to guide you through the process of acquiring your real estate license. Once you become licensed, we will provide you with the hands on training that you will need to become a successful real estate professional.

To become a member of the Katz Realty team will require dedication on your part. As with most professional careers, there is a substantial amount of training and cost involved at the onset, but both will give you the knowledge and tools required to become a successful and profitable real estate agent. We need realtors now, so give us a call today!

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete a 60 clock-hour course in real estate fundamentals. Clock hours must be completed within 5 years prior to application for examination.
• Obtain a Candidate Handbook, which contains the examination application from the course provider. Have your school stamp and complete the required information on the Examination Application. To schedule an exam, contact the provider of our Real Estate examinations, Promissory, at the toll-free number, provided in the handbook.
• Pass the examination. Those who pass the exam will receive information on how to apply for a license. Results are valid for one year from the date of passing the examination.
• Complete and submit the Real Estate Salesperson Application with the appropriate fee.
• After receiving your license you will need to join the Association of Realtors. Currently, all of our agents belong to the Grant County Association of Realtors which includes membership to the State and National levels as well. There are several state associations in Washington to choose from and you may belong to any one you wish.
• Join the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

Washington State Requirements

• 60 Hours      Complete the course in real estate fundamentals.
• 2 Hours      Pass the state examination with a 70% or greater.
